Also, down below, TNW Deals has two different deals going on that may pique your interest if you are droneless and really want to give these tricks and tips a go yourself. Just be careful!

1. Make your drone do flips

With a few quick and coordinated moves, you can make your done do triple back flips in the sky as it plummets to the ground.

Do it just right and you can catch it before it reaches the ground, creating a shocking affect that is sure to amaze. This is by far one of the most popular tricks drone owners work to master, as it is one of the most impressive.

2. Capture amazing video footage

While this may not be a specific trick, using your drone to capture amazing video footage and killer point of view photography can definitely up your cinematography game. Pairing some of the tricks mentioned here with your video or camera ready drone can give you some pretty awesome angles and movements for your video or photography endeavors.

Unsure what kind of footage you can get with your drone? Here’s a really great video talking about the different video techniques you can achieve with your drone, and how to do it.

3. Win Halloween (or any occasion) by dressing up your drone

Halloween is a little less than 10 months away, but there’s no reason why you couldn’t start planning this trick now, or even possibly using this trick around April Fools.

This dude dressed up his drone to be the Grim Reaper and flew his Drone Reaper (see what I did there?) through a cemetery and park, scaring kids and adults alike. I can easily see this being used for birthday parties, pranks, and other events (flying Easter Bunny anyone?).

4. Set up your own obstacle course and test your flying skills

If you’re a daredevil and want to push the limits of your flying skills with your drone, you can set up an obstacle course to challenge you and deliver shock and awe moments to your friends. Allow nature and things around you to be your obstacles as you fly and zoom your drone through the neighborhood.

The video above shows a series of really neat obstacles that they were able to pull off with their drone, including flying it under a car! A word of caution though: start small and work your way up so you don’t end up losing your drone or crashing it.
